July 9–12: Leaders’ Training

The growth of Suluk Academy as a vehicle for our teachings represents a new modality of spiritual technique. Leaders attending these sessions will encounter the suluk experience with Pir Zia, Aziza Scott, Suhrawardi Gebel, Khabira Brown, and Kamila Stannard. Aziza will also be offering Retreat Guide Training.

July 13–15: Retreat With Pir Zia Inayat-Khan and Aziza Scott

Turn within and discover the transformative power of sacred silence. Awaken hidden potential lying dormant at the wellsprings of your being. Spiritual practices of the Sufis, and guided meditation enhance the retreat process.

July 16–19: Awakening in Beauty

With Shahabuddin Less, Munawir Mangold, Zarifa Kadian, Sharifa Norton, Devi and Sarmad Tide, and special guests. Express the harmony of the body with music, dance, and healing practices. Celebrate the harmony of religious ideals with practitioners of the Abrahamic faiths. Reconnect to harmony with the Earth and the elements. Nourish the soul with the harmonious gathering of a loving community of all ages

July 18: HuDost Concert

HuDost is a Music ensemble whose core musicians are singer/songwriters Moksha Sommer and Jemal Wade Hines from Montreal and New York.

The Children’s Camp (ages 4-11)

The Children’s Camp(ages 4-11)will be held for the full 10 days of the Summer Gathering, offering a fun, dynamic, and uplifting experience. Activities include song, dance, yoga, music, drumming, sports, nature hikes, clowning/theatre, children’s Universal Worship, swimming, arts & crafts, evening camp-fi res and smores, storytelling, games and much more!

The Tweeners’ Camp

The Tweeners’ Camp (ages 12-15) offers a fun and balanced schedule of games, sports, nature walks, swimming, sleepovers, day-trips, music, and much more throughout the 10 days! Tweeners are also always welcome to join in the Young Adults sessions.

The Young Adults’ Camp

The Young Adults’ Camp (ages 16-29ish) follows its own fl exible schedule over the 10 days, featuring daily sessions with Pir Zia and Devi Tide, as well as fun-fi lled activities, group sharing and meetings with other senior teachers. This camp has traditionally been a bridge for those younger or less experienced in the Sufi teachings and has provided a joyous atmosphere for forming and deepening sacred friendships and community. Participants may come for any or all youth sessions, or join the main tent events, as they feel called. Tuition scholarships and work-exchange are always available; limited travel scholarships so contact us early!
